The surgeon is a board certified ophthalmologist whp has performed more than 25,000 procedures over the course of his career. He earned his degree in physics from Emory University before completing his medical internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. His ophthalmic residency was completed at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia which is consistently ranked in the top three residency training programs in the world. He completed a LASIK fellowship with Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center in Phoenix, which is one of the largest and busiest refractive surgery centers in the country.
